Start of my public speaking journey

My journey into public speaking begins with a talk at GDG Baroda about taking vibe code to production.

Some Background

I've always enjoyed speaking—perhaps a bit too much at times. Most of my friends can attest to that. I'm also passionate about technology, often spending hours at my computer to understand how things work and how they can be integrated.

It seemed like a natural progression to start speaking about tech publicly. I've long wanted to create YouTube videos on various tech topics, but so far, I've only accumulated equipment, written failed scripts, and produced a draft video that's utterly embarrassing.

How Could I Proceed?

I sought advice from a few friends, and one of them, my good friend Hardeep Patel, suggested I prepare a talk for GDG Baroda. He offered to feature me as a speaker in one of their Sunday sessions as part of the "Road to GDG Devfest 2025" series. I agreed immediately, even without any preparation in place.

I quickly put together a plan and shared it with Hardeep. He approved it, and we confirmed the dates. The week leading up was hectic with work, but I managed to prepare the talk in the evenings.

The day finally arrived. I stepped onto the stage to an enthusiastic audience of about 45 people who had come out on a Sunday morning to learn about taking "Vibe code to production".

I believe it went well. Here's a link to the slides if you'd like to check them out.
