Tidbit

A tiny AI pet that animates itself live with no image generation. Works with any AI provider or offline, remembers things for you, learns skills, and calls any API or webhook, from Home Assistant to n8n.

Tidbit preview

An AI companion that animates itself live, no image generation needed. Each pal is about 400 bytes of DNA (body, eyes, ears, tail, colours, temperament, voice), and each reply is a short list of beats: a mood, a gesture, a gaze, an effect and some words. A procedural puppet rig turns those choices into a living character with idle activities, needs and growth.

The brain is a pi agent, so Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, a ChatGPT subscription or a local Ollama all work, and a rule-based brain runs everything offline. It remembers you, files notes into tasks and reminders, runs routines, learns SKILL.md skills, and can call any API or webhook you give it: Home Assistant, n8n, Zapier, ntfy or your own services. The same rig streams to a Waveshare ESP32-S3 AMOLED board with hold-to-talk voice.
